Account Creation & Security

Registration Requirements

To register an account with 1099, you must be at least 18 years of age and a resident or citizen of Malaysia who is legally eligible to use online entertainment services. Each user is permitted to hold only one active account; multiple registrations by the same individual are strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of all associated accounts without notice. During registration, you are required to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, including your full name, date of birth, phone number and a valid email address. 1099 reserves the right to verify your identity at any time through a KYC (Know Your Customer) process in compliance with applicable regulations. Failure to provide the requested verification documents within the stipulated timeframe may result in a temporary suspension or permanent closure of your account.

Account Security Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for keeping your 1099 username and password confidential at all times. We recommend using a strong, unique password and not sharing your login credentials with anyone, including family members or friends. Any activity that occurs on your account, whether with your knowledge or not, remains your responsibility unless unauthorised access is promptly reported to us. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact the 1099 support team immediately to request a temporary account freeze for your protection. The 1099 platform uses SSL encryption technology to safeguard your personal data and financial transactions; however, we are not liable for losses resulting from a user's own negligence in protecting their login credentials.

User Responsibilities & Platform Rules

Permitted & Prohibited Conduct

As a user of the 1099 platform, you agree to use all services offered solely for lawful personal entertainment and not for any activity that violates Malaysian law. Using the platform for money laundering, fraud, identity theft or any other criminal activity that could harm the platform or other users is strictly prohibited. Users may not use any automated software, bots, algorithms or other technical means to access the platform, scrape data or manipulate game outcomes on 1099. Any attempt to exploit technical vulnerabilities, manipulate the payment system or engage in collusion across multiple accounts will result in immediate account suspension and legal action where warranted. Users are also responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform does not violate any local laws or regulations applicable to their area of residence in Malaysia.

Platform Usage Rules

The 1099 platform offers a wide range of games and entertainment services that must be used in accordance with the specific rules of each game as outlined on the relevant pages. All game outcomes generated by our system are final and not subject to dispute unless there is clear evidence of a verifiable technical system failure confirmed by 1099. Users must ensure that the device used to access the platform is secure, free from malware and not shared with irresponsible individuals. We reserve the right to restrict access to certain services based on geographic location, compliance requirements or technical reasons at any time without providing compensation. Any misuse of the customer service function — including filing false complaints or threatening support staff — will be treated as a breach of these terms and appropriate action will be taken.

Payment & MYR Transaction Info

Deposits & Withdrawals

All financial transactions on the 1099 platform are conducted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), and you are responsible for ensuring that the funds you use are legitimate and belong to you. Minimum and maximum deposit limits are subject to the thresholds set by the platform and may change from time to time in line with 1099's risk management policy. Withdrawal requests will be processed within the stipulated timeframe depending on the chosen payment method, and 1099 reserves the right to request additional verification documents before approving any withdrawal to ensure transaction security. Any attempt to conduct transactions using a bank account or payment instrument belonging to another person is strictly prohibited and will result in the freezing of funds and a report to the relevant authorities. Our platform supports a range of popular payment methods in Malaysia, and all transactions are protected by industry-standard security protocols to keep your funds safe.

Bonus & Promotions

All bonuses, promotions and special offers provided by 1099 are subject to the specific terms set for each promotion as stated on our Promotions page. Bonuses credited to your account must meet the applicable wagering requirement before any withdrawal can be made from that bonus balance. 1099 reserves the right to withdraw, cancel or modify any bonus or promotion at any time if there is suspicion of abuse, an attempted fraud or a breach of the relevant promotion's terms. Users who attempt to exploit bonus offers through multiple accounts or other dishonest methods will forfeit all accumulated bonuses and may have their accounts suspended. Any bonus-related disputes must be submitted to the 1099 support team within 14 days of the relevant transaction date to be considered.

Liability Limits & Account Policy

1099 Liability Limits

1099 will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, our platform, including financial losses resulting from service disruptions, technical errors or cyberattacks beyond our control. We do not guarantee that the platform will operate without interruption, be completely secure or be free from technical errors, and users accept this as part of their agreement to the terms of use. In cases where 1099's liability cannot be fully excluded by law, our liability is limited to the total amount deposited by you in the 30 days preceding the relevant claim. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the necessary hardware and software to access the platform, and 1099 bears no costs related to the user's device or internet connection. Any liability claim must be submitted in writing to 1099 within the timeframe prescribed under applicable Malaysian law.

Account Suspension & Closure

1099 reserves the right to suspend or close a user's account at any time without prior notice if there is a breach of the terms of use, suspected fraudulent activity, failure to meet KYC requirements or instructions from a regulatory authority. Users whose accounts are suspended pending investigation will not be able to access their funds until the investigation is concluded; if a breach is established, those funds may be forfeited in accordance with the prescribed procedure. If you wish to voluntarily close your account, please contact the 1099 support team and all legitimate outstanding funds will be returned to you after the verification process is completed within the stipulated timeframe. Accounts inactive for more than 12 consecutive months may be subject to an inactivity management fee under the platform's current policy, and a notice will be sent to the registered email address before any deduction is made. Users whose accounts have been closed due to a breach of terms are not permitted to register a new account without prior written approval from 1099 management.

Intellectual Property, Third-Party Links & Changes to Terms

Intellectual Property

All content on the 1099 platform — including logos, visual design, text, graphics, software code, domain names and marketing materials — is the exclusive property of 1099 and is protected under Malaysian intellectual property law. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display or create derivative works from any protected materials without prior written consent from 1099 management. Unauthorised use of the 1099 brand name, logo or any trademark in any context constitutes a serious infringement and may result in legal action. Any feedback, suggestions or ideas submitted by users to 1099 may be used by us without compensation or attribution to the contributor. Copyright for all games available on the platform belongs to their respective game providers, and 1099 operates under valid licences from those providers.

Third-Party Links

The 1099 platform may contain links or references to third-party websites or services provided solely for user convenience and informational purposes. The presence of such links does not imply that 1099 endorses, verifies or takes responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party website. Users who choose to access third-party links do so entirely at their own risk, and 1099 will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from interactions with those third parties. We recommend that users review the terms and privacy policy of each third-party site before submitting any personal information or completing any transaction there. If you come across a link you believe to be harmful or misleading within the 1099 platform, please report it to our support team immediately.

Changes to Terms & Governing Law

1099 reserves the right to amend, update or replace any part of these terms and conditions at any time in response to operational needs, legislative changes or regulatory requirements in force in Malaysia. Notice of material changes will be sent to users' registered email addresses or prominently displayed on the platform's home page, and users will be deemed to have accepted the changes if they continue using the platform after the effective date. These terms and conditions are governed by Malaysian law, and any disputes arising will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Malaysia. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision will be deemed amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, while all other provisions remain in full force and effect. For any enquiries relating to these terms, users may contact our team through 1099's official support channels.
